Madison Square Eating

Madison Square Eats is an outdoor food market/festival thing in New York run by a company called Urbanspace. I had been to their market in Herald Square, which is steps away from Penn Station where I catch my trains home to Long Island. But now I live in New York (most of the time), so as soon as I found out MadSqEats was open, I knew I had to hightail it down there.

It's across from Madison Square Park, right on the edge of the Flatiron District and the NoMad sections of Manhattan. I love this area. The park is beautiful, there's great shopping, restaurants, and bars. And the Flatiron Building never ceases to take my breath away (I mean look at it). I reconnected with a friend from high school on a Monday night and we each bought dinner from one of the vendors in the market. She got a grilled cheese, I got bibimbap, a Korean bbq rice bowl (pictured below from my visit to Broadway Bites).

Our food was delicious. After, we went to The Storehouse for a couple drinks and I didn't get home until 12:30 AM so yeah, it was a good night.
